Doing power system short circuit fault current analyzis? Need to
perform arc flash analysis and hazard risk assessment to determine

Oops!

I hadn't notice the cross posting element. Perhaps this was the cause of
Chris's comments.

I would have trimmed this down to just alt.engineering.maintenance if I'd
noticed, which was my target.

Contrary to Chris' comments above.

I set up this news group ages ago and it has been plagued with Spam relating
to porn, viagra, fake watches etc (as almost all un-moderated newsgroups
are).

Yes this post is advertising, as all the posts at present are. I had hoped
that this newsgroup could be a forum for discussion on maintenance topics.
Ah well! At least the ads are on topic.

I think this is a useful tool for electrical engineers and anyone
responsible for setting up a factory's electrical distribution diagram.

Calculating prospective fault levels is a requirement under IEE Regs and I
am sure this tool will make the job much easier.

I have no association with this company.
